1. Fill the water container and attach the smoke column
Pour cold water into the glass container so that the smoke column is submerged about 3 cm. The higher the water level above the column, the more suction is required when drawing through the hose. Then attach the column using the sealing ring to ensure it is airtight.
Tip: Add ice cubes to make the smoke even cooler.
2. Connect the hose and attach the mouthpiece
Connect the hose to the smoke column. To prevent air from entering, a hose seal should be used. At the other end, a hygienic mouthpiece can optionally be attached.
3. Add NarQila tobacco substitute (aroma)
This is one of the most important steps for a great hookah session. Gently loosen the moist tobacco substitute by pulling it apart slightly. Then loosely fill up to 15 grams into the clay bowl. Do not press it down. Fill only to just below the rim.
4. Place metal screen or aluminum foil
Place the metal charcoal screen over the bowl – maintain at least 2 cm distance from the aroma. Alternatively, you can tightly stretch aluminum foil over the bowl and poke small holes in it using a pointed object. Then place the filled bowl with the head gasket firmly onto the smoke column over the ash tray – again keeping at least 2 cm distance from the tobacco substitute.
5. Light the charcoal
Hold the charcoal piece with tongs over a flame until it glows underneath. Then place it on the metal screen or foil.
???? Tip with foil: Occasionally move the coal slightly to ensure even heating.
⚠️ Disposal warning: Even after burning, coals may remain hot. Always extinguish with water before disposal!
6. Preheat the hookah
Time for the final step: draw gently on the hose (without inhaling) to fill the water chamber with smoke. As soon as visible smoke appears, your hookah is ready to enjoy.
Enjoy your session –
